gwydion* Vladamir Putiun wants to remind the world that he is the real victim here, not all the innocent people who died because Putin sent the Russian military to train separatists in using vehicle mounted missile arrays to shoot down planes as part of their invasion of Ukraine.
* The AIDS Conference organizers are going ahead as scheduled, as a way of honoring the dead. This seems appropriate to me. AIDS research has always been carried on in the midst of death and tragedy. I can't imagine the dead would want the work to stop just because they aren't there to see it.
The Australians are furious, and it was beautiful watching their delegate stand up in the UN.
Listening to shocked and grieving colleagues of the dead researchers trying to hold it together for the interviews at bed time has pretty much gutted me.

* It looks like pear shaped silhouettes are in for Fall as I'm spotting them across multiple designer lines. Given how hard it is for women with pear shapes to find flattering clothes, I hope this signals an improvement in that area.
