* Where was I the last few days? There were a couple of massive events on Game of Bones I needed to go to and it ate all my brain processing power. Also, my arm is still trouble and I'm endlessly tired from the course of antibiotics I just finished.
* RP: To Roha We go:
They made it into the Ethiopian highlands safely. The local weres left them for a Moot in a valley with water and the directions not to sing. This meant the adults were stretched with sentry duty. Trouble hit the second night when Fumiko and Gwallog woke with the sense something wasn't right. A check on the children turned up extras, but they were having trouble figuring out which. Tiger came back from being sentry, because this was clearly a job for him as main caregiver. Tiger had recently given them each a semi-precious stone as rewards for being so brave during the monster attack last session. Two had river rocks, but Fumiko pointed out the interlopers could have stolen them. There was clearly a subtle mind effect in effect as even though Tiger knew all their names and all sorts of things about them they all seemed like they belonged. Fumiko could tell two were wrong from the umbra, but they kept moving. Tiger started story time, which got them to stay still. Fumiko crossed again, identified and dowsed the imposters with water. She then grabbed them, only one started eating her arm. Gwallog put the other in the dimensional bag, Fumiko took the monster child to the Umbra, where it reverted to goo and kept eating her arm. She got the owl to zap it repeatedly, which with the digestion nearly killed Fumiko, but did kill it. She now has a hairless arm. Owl healed Fumiko.
It was at this point they discovered the oldest girl was delirious, feverish, and had sweats. she was babbling about crocodiles and beads. It was not physical and her aura was on fire. Tests showed she was awakening. Fumiko flew to Roha for help, unfortunately through a cloud of the spirits drawn by song. The trip took awhile as she had to locate mages able to help. Meanwhile, Tiger did what he could to keep the girl comfortable and had an effect on the way her Avatar manifested. Fumiko left ahead of the expedition with a spirit mage to help the girl. When the Garou returned, they put the girl on a litter and the party started off through the forest. Meanwhile, an expedition left Roha with military export, Priests, and nuns. One the way they met Christians who were not assholes, which was interesting for them.
They settled in single sex guest houses with free stay tokens from the mages. Tiger went home to see his wife and children. Fumiko helped Gwallog start looking for the cursed knife. Gwallog creeped out a blessed knife seller, but Fumiko fixed it with fancy talking. No luck on the actual knife, but they are starting to build contacts.
