* Complain all they want about Internet activism, seems to me there wouldn't be a serious International search on for those Nigerian girls, if social media hadn't drawn attention to the outrage and put pressure on governments, and I'm betting they wouldn't be assembling a summit on dealing with Boko Haram, if the internet hadn't pushed world media to cover the story.
* Re Carl Rove's attack on Hilary Clinton: It reminds me of "Does she look tired?" I didn't approve when the Doctor did it either. This sort of thing is so often a gendered attack. I may not be a fan of either Clintonm, but I think this sort of tactic is disgusting and is exactly the sort of thing Republicans are prone to doing to undermine women.
Attacks on policy? Fine. This sort of filth? Right out.
