gwydion* As I wrote this, the Somalian Presidential Palace was under attack by Al Shabaab.
* New elections have been announced in the Ukraine. 77 people have died n the fighting in the past week in Kiev, with many more wounded. Things seem calmer today, with small scuffles rather than pitched battles. Police remain much in evidence and the protesters are not disbursing, understandably wary of the government's promises.
