He's had a deep wet cough all week and trouble breathing. I kept saying he needed to go to the Doctor as I'd had bronchitis and his cough sounded seriously dangerous and he looked very ill to me. Unfortunately, he doesn't have health insurance until January, so he kept delaying. (Me: Doctor! you need to see a doctor. Him: What happened to people with things like this before modern mediine? Me: A lot of them died. Some of them with good immune systems got better eventually. Go to the Doctor. Seriously). He was so ill Thursday he gave in and made an appointment for this morning.
This was very lucky. It was his heart. The bronchitis sounding cough was his lungs filling with fluid. They sent him to the ER. He is likely in for the weekend. I took him his charger for his kindle and some books. He is not dying and should be okay, as catching this sort of thing and treating it before you keel over is a very good idea. He has a single bed room in the ordinary in patient section with a lovely view of snow covered trees.
He will call tomorrow and let me know how hes doing and hopefully how soon they will let him out.
If you are wanting to contact him at the hospital, PM me.
