gwydion* I know I haven't said anything abut the serious stuff happening in Iraq, Egypt, and Israel, but I'm really not doing well physically and am not up to the research involved in untangling competing claims and versions of events let alone formulating an intelligent opinion. My apologies.

* I couldn't sleep long so I did the long loop errands and made phone calls. Then I packed some more things. Enough things are packed to cause Hector to start escalating. (Mache and Hector were abandoned by their original humans and very nearly starved to death in the middle of Winter. Mache's extra clingy, but coping okay. Hector is just way more emotionally fragile, poor beastie, and anything that looks like packing freaks him out for obvious and completely understandable reasons.) I seemed to have moved into a whole other level of physical ickiness, but it's impossible to tell if this is Con Crud part two or my body throwing a tantrum over all the physical stress it's under. Either way, things that must be done must be done. I meet the contractors at too early tomorrow morning to let them set up their moisture test. Tonight I had a meet up with a friend I haven't seen in most of a year, which was fun and had the added bonus of involving food I didn't have to cook after a day when I used up most of the spoons. i crashed almost immediately after getting home.
