* I know that "Kraken" is a type of rum and that their tag line is a "Clash of the Titans" reference but whenever I hear that man intone, "Release the Kraken!" I get a mental picture of a drunk guy whipping his dick out while yelling that at a party.
* Halloween is a boon for taping older horror movies to watch. I caught Blade II again. The fight choreography in some of those scene is so beautiful I could almost weep. Wesley Snipes dances a violent choreography with weapons, a deadly sort of ballet. I wrote recently about my love of figure skating and it's mix of grace and athletics. I feel much the same about a really good martial arts movie. I miss Wesley Snipes. I miss how beautiful and precise he was in motion on the big screen.
