gwydion* At least six people are dead (not counting the shooter) and five wounded in a mass shooting in Santa Monica connected to a fire. Basically, he traveled towards the campus shooting at whoever he saw and engaging in gun battles with police along the way. They shot and killed him in the library.
* An impaired crane operator in Philly collapsed a building killing six a few days ago. He's under arrest.
* They arrested a lady who once played a Walker on Walking Dead for the latest batch of attempted risin poisonings.

Y’all know I’m big on harm reduction. This looks like harm reduction to me. Sure, it’s better if people quit, bu for people who aren’t, this looks a lot safer. It also stops things like people like me walking into a cloud of smoke and collapsing and children being burned in the face by passing strangers who are careless about where their hands are. (Yes, this happens).
