* Various Coverage of Sen. Lautenberg and his legacy. (For the record, the smoking ban was controversial in our house. Mom, my sister and I were really happy as we had trouble breathing on airplanes, but my Dad was pissed. Weirdly, my memory of Abscam as a child is entirely that one of the defendants was related to a boy in my school.):

* It's funny, but these days, the phrase "under the weather" doesn't mean sick to me so much as that thing when the weather makes it hard to stand and walk.
* I was meant to do the errands I missed Thursday, but there was so little sleep that lying still a few more hours seemed my best bet. A handiman wanting to look at the broken screen stole about an hour and a half as I couldn't get back to sleep. Then there was Hector. Sigh. There's an appointment with the new Doctor tomorrow. We'll know how fucked I am for long term treatment and meds then.

* GOT: While I'm not up to the Red Wedding in the Books, I am confused by why people are so startled. It was obvious what was going to happen and I spent the whole episode expecting it. The thing that startled me was that the characters weren't expecting it and hadn't planned a response in case it did. We know Waldar Frey. We know his character and agenda. I guess it's another example of the Starks not being particularly bright.
