gwydion* The government of Nigeria is sending troops to three North eastern provinces they may being losing or have lost control of. There's now an official state of emergency. There is worry for the safety of civilians from both forces.
* In that town in Turkey where the bombing happened, the locals have started to blame and attack the refugees, on the grounds that Turkish youths wouldn't be dying if the refugees weren't there as a target for Assad. It's heartbreaking. Women and children are having to flee back into the war zone.

Horrifying and disgusting. The large scale repeated rape of women was not "necessary."
* 11 companies have joined the agreement for factory safety in Bangladesh. Walmart is refusing to sign on. Of course.
