* O.o The better of my senators is going to chair the Senate Budget Committee! Congratulations, Patty Murray! Go kick some butt for the rest of us!
* Ohio moves to defund Planned Parenthood and thus deny women cancer screening and treatment because literally killing women wholesale unnecessarily is a mainstay of "Pro-Life" position. Looks "Pro-Death" and/or "Pro-Cancer" to me.

* The dramatic negative economic, health, and mental health consequences of being forced to bear to term against your will in the United States:

* Today was get shit done day. Along with all the small stuff: Laundry, Bureaucracy, Paper sorting, Prescriptions, and ebay packing. I thought I was going to take it in the shorts on the ebay auctions this time between my Red Cross donations and the super low bids. Apparently there was a last minute bidding war on the massive imp lot (Which is where I generally make my money these days). All together they were still a little low, but within the range of reasonable, especially as my expectations were low given the tithing and the season. Hector took this opportunity to compete for most annoying birmin in the planet, starting with not letting me sleep and going on from there. About twelve hours in I nearly snapped, only just managing to restrain myself and lock him in his room instead. If he'd just eat and take a nap like the others it'd be fine, but he starts demanding feeding before I can even sit down from the last feeding, never shuts up, and fights me for every mouthful of my own food. He'd been doing fine for weeks with only the occasional bad patch.

* This is the worst my lungs have been since we moved. As obnoxious as the whole difficult to breathe thing is, I'm kind of impressed my it having been a year. This used to be most of the time.
