* The car repair was free again as it was related to a previous repair. (I love having an honest mechanic.) I am still working on acquiring furniture that will work better in my bedroom with my physical limitations, plus I've been periodically checking for an ottoman or poof of the right height and shape so that Mache can get on and off herself. As a result, I've been periodically checking Good Will. I hit the jackpot today. The poof is bearable aesthetically, but not ideal. Hector and the Butt would both like it to be only for one of them, but Mache is claiming it and fighting off all comers. It's exactly the right size for napping and exactly the right height for her to get on and off without help. Bonus points for excellent claw sharpening fabric. I need to move it when no one is sitting on it so it's less in the way, but I have a spot picked out to try. I also scored what I suspect to be the right chest of drawers, but it will take help to get it out of the car and into my room. The chest of drawers will solve at least two problems, I very much hope. This will leave me with one smallish problem for which I have two potential solution ideas. Poof Update: Mache is not as fond of the new location, but it's still her poof, damnit!
