gwydion* More than a hundred have been killed in Syria every day for over a month. The government continues to target civilians and particularly children for torture and murder. 103, 416 refugees fled Syria in August. 235,300 total have fled during the government genocide to neighboring countries.
* A gunman opened up at a celebration for the new Premiere in Quebec. One dead and another wounded, the gunman is in custody. It sounded like the shooter was anglophone and there is worry that this will spark ugliness between francophone and anglophone citizens.

* Solstice Reading folks: A queue has been established. I'll get to them, likely piecemeal, in the order in which they arrived depending on when I have the energy.
* I did a couple errands today, then lay down to gather a spoon for the Big Gay Potluck. I was so tired from the shots, I almost didn't go, but the food was ready to go so I made myself put on trousers and go. The food was particularly good and the conversation interesting, but at the end of the night, the guy I didn't fuck last Spring tried to get me and a nice but twice my age guy to exchange numbers. I do not want to be pimped out to guys I'm not interested in fucking. Awkward! Luckily, we were equally reluctant. The other guy has hearing aids and I'm really bad on the phone and the attempt to force a hook up was pretty clearly uncomfortable for him too, which made me extricating less awkward than it could have been. I went home and got my nap, despite hector's attempts to prevent it.
* One of the inoculations is really kicking my ass. Ouch. Ooooouuuuch!
