* Wednesday was complicated and exhausting, but at least we avoided Thompsons. We ended up ditching all my errands for a trip North to get free furniture for friends that moved a few months ago. It was worth it: the pieces were real wood. They were hard to fit in the car, so we were too late getting downtown. This was fine. Millennials got all their stuff done. There was take and bake pizza and hanging out and Techie Millennial started Gothmas Phase four, though there is much still much to do.

My treatments are scheduled for the rest of the month. I am tolerating them within expectations. (Exhausted, mild fever. Lung gunk, but no worse than, say Just breathing in June. That sort of thing. Last time there was a bit of itch, so we're preemptively using the cream. I've done this before and it's fine. I have better medications to control the lung stuff this time around, so I'm actually better off.

BONUS! I got notification Tuesday when it was too late to start the process of ordering it that I needed paperwork for some annual health care bureaucracy. No way did I have time before treatment to wait around on the loooooong phone wait to order a copy, nor to sort through my important frequently requested bureaucracy paper pile. Today when I got home a different sourced bit of bureaucracy turned up that I can use instead of waiting in the two hour phone line and then waiting another week for the correct paper to show up or hoping that they'd already mailed it. It's in hand and I can easily make deadline for getting it in. All I need is gas for a trip downtown. I am very happy to lose the long boring steps out of the process.

Me: Why are they drastically cutting my EBT? Seconds later: OH! Inflation hiked SSI so high I am no longer maxed out on EBT for a single person.

So I'm still having a terrible time with my arms and legs which are painful, have shit range of motion and cut out suddenly when they are working, but this actually is in the can just manage to function with my high pain threshold level if I don't move to much. Trust me there is an important distinction between can shuffle around painfully and sit in the car while people do stuff, and bursts into tears periodically from the extreme pain of sitting or lying still.
