Me: she doesn't have the Plague. I know this because it's 1339 and the Bubonic Plague doesn't reach Scotland until 1350.
They do not explain how people in 1339 would know about The Great Pestilence in their future at any point in the episode. Just saying.
Points for having most of them speak Scottish Gaelic, even if the Lord’s English was too modern, though. Most shows wouldn’t have bothered.
I think it stood out especially starkly because they went to all the trouble to have Gealic toast and such and have the Lord explain how he happened to speak English, but no one double checked to see if the were a year to early for plague in the UK.
