* The Millennials who've been valiantly getting my groceries for me since March 2020 had an extra book shelf and it fits in the spot along Squirrel's wall in the living room. (I lose the bottom two shelves because sofa, but it is very worth it. They brought it Friday morning and Most frequent Millennial and I moved all the furniture not up against a wall, swept the floor, they installed the shelving, we moved the furniture back, and swept the floor again. Then they helped me with the garden.
Saturday Caregiver Millennial came to work and I got the mantle stuff out of the boxes and set it up, plus moving a bunch of things onto the available lower shelf, plus started the Great Desk reorganization, because things needed to be moved around in response to sofa side access to the annoying corner going away. It needed to happen anyway and will solve the Tavy trying to call the paramedic problem, I hope.
I have burned most of the spoons, but all the pillow cases we used to wrap the altar and assorted mementos are ready to wash, I have two fewer boxes in the way, and things are getting so much closer to clean and organized, even though this is the inconvenient phase of the process where everything is In the Way.
Livia, of course hates all of it. Visitors! Cleaning! All the humans in masks! Sounds! Change! Don't worry, I am giving her lots of Love. Tavy, on the other hand, is having the time of his life. Squirrel: That cat thrives on chaos. (He really does. he sensibly retreated to my room with Livia during the worst of the Friday furniture moving, but he came out as soon as we weren't doing the really obnoxious part of it). Two of the Adjunct Clowder members are back! His two favorite people who don't live here are here! He followed Caregiver Millennial around all of Wednesday's shift demanding attention. (caregiver Millennial is doing an Amazing job, BTW. Like seriously impressive). Friday, Tavy unexpectedly leaped into Caregiver Millennial's arms for a cuddle. Me: Ah! You are family now!
Alas, the test was negative, which means no chance of treatment until May.

* The Millennials who've been valiantly getting my groceries for me since March 2020 had an extra book shelf and it fits in the spot along Squirrel's wall in the living room. (I lose the bottom two shelves because sofa, but it is very worth it. They brought it Friday morning and Most frequent Millennial and I moved all the furniture not up against a wall, swept the floor, they installed the shelving, we moved the furniture back, and swept the floor again. Then they helped me with the garden.
Saturday Caregiver Millennial came to work and I got the mantle stuff out of the boxes and set it up, plus moving a bunch of things onto the available lower shelf, plus started the Great Desk reorganization, because things needed to be moved around in response to sofa side access to the annoying corner going away. It needed to happen anyway and will solve the Tavy trying to call the paramedic problem, I hope.
I have burned most of the spoons, but all the pillow cases we used to wrap the altar and assorted mementos are ready to wash, I have two fewer boxes in the way, and things are getting so much closer to clean and organized, even though this is the inconvenient phase of the process where everything is In the Way.
Livia, of course hates all of it. Visitors! Cleaning! All the humans in masks! Sounds! Change! Don't worry, I am giving her lots of Love. Tavy, on the other hand, is having the time of his life. Squirrel: That cat thrives on chaos. (He really does. he sensibly retreated to my room with Livia during the worst of the Friday furniture moving, but he came out as soon as we weren't doing the really obnoxious part of it). Two of the Adjunct Clowder members are back! His two favorite people who don't live here are here! He followed Caregiver Millennial around all of Wednesday's shift demanding attention. (caregiver Millennial is doing an Amazing job, BTW. Like seriously impressive). Friday, Tavy unexpectedly leaped into Caregiver Millennial's arms for a cuddle. Me: Ah! You are family now!
Alas, the test was negative, which means no chance of treatment until May.
