* So I had an appointment with my regular Doctor Tuesday, also regarding the test results that triggered the specialist telemedicine situation. Basically, a range of things could be going on, but I knew it was none of the benign ones because like 4-5 months of other symptoms.

Basically, there are a lot of reasons to think it's a recurrence of a health problem I had for over a decade until a medication I had to go off solved it. The easiest test for it would involve going off a med that I can't function without and it's an excellent way to end up in an ER. Which will sure speed up specialist testing but it'd be two weeks of hell even without an ER visit. We did the test anyway, knowing my meds mean a way higher rate of false negatives. The reason we did this is if we get a positive I can start treatment, likely Monday instead of waiting until some time in May for specialist testing and that would be a massive fucking lifestyle upgrade right there.

We're both pretty sure I have it and it's treatable, so a positive test is a good thing here.

Problem is? That drug I was taken off also causes cancer, so even if the test turns up positive Thursday or Friday, we still need to extensively screen my innards, as having one condition doesn't preclude the other. I've had like a month or so to get used to the idea, and freaking out about it like a month or more before we get an answer isn't particularly helpful to anyone, so please, please don't stress out because I'm not.

Anyway, my body keeps trying to tell me it's seriously wounded and has for months (See why we were doing initial testing in the first place). Add on to bad stuff is happening inside me the whole Tuesday my arm basically stopped working for about five hours to the point that rolling over in bed was a major fucking drama, plus the other stuff the past couple of weeks with arm, allergies, vaccination, etc., this is why posting and particularly aggregate posting has been a mess. Remember posting requires arm use.

So that's what's going on. cross fingers on this week's test results being positive and the next batch being negative, okay?
