* Friday: The Millennials brought my food today. The Imperial couple know and like Usual Millennial to the point that Tavy lets them pet him and Livia lets them see her and doesn't go into her secure hide, just hang out in my bedroom. Tavy is five and knows and is reasonably friendly to Usual Millenial's husband, tough not to the pet me play with me level.

Livia is three and not having heard Usual Millenial's husband in most of a year has forgotten him. When you are three 8-9 months is a really long time. She panicked, like full on thought the Contractor were back panicked, poor thing.

So I put the groceries away and go in to open up a packet of toys they sent the Imperial couple as a gift, and Livia trotted over to see. There was a catnip fish in there! One previous occasions, she was too young to get why Tavy was so into catnip toys, but this time? Most fun ever.

It was at this point I thought, "That's odd, why do I smell cat pee-Fuck!" I don't blame her. he was really scared and he likely mistook e moving around the kitchen for stranger invasion and was too frightened to go out and use her box. still it meant stripping the bed down to the mattress and quick recovering it to keep Tavy and the fleas off. The sound of me switching liners, summoned Tavy who inevitably tried to eat the bedding and mail my hand in his excitement. Once I had the back up liner and a fitted sheet on there I gave him the new toys and he had the best time biting everything and playing with the catnip fish, as everyone got a good turn before they had time to lose any of them.

But this meant two more loads of laundry on top of last nights which was still drying. Between the flea battle and the piss incident, I was forced to go out for more detergent, as I forgot to order it from the Millenials.

I had to hose off after, of course. Later, I would discover Tavy had helpfully pissed on my office chair at some point during the proceedings. Because of course he did. Luckily the wheelchair cushions both have washable covers so in they are going along with the extra pillow, the soft blanket I use to cover them, and the extra pillow I layer between the ancient second hand wheelchair cushions. I’m going to be doing laundry all night. Again.

On the upside, Medicare is giving me at least three physio sessions next month, which I have scheduled. I need it. I'm back in the sling.

* Saturday: I discovered at bed time she'd pissed the bed again. The padded liner was in the wash, so it soaked through the underliner right into the mattress. I cleaned it as best as I could with special anti-enzyme stuff and water, but there was no other choice, I layered towels and the spare pee guard and slept in the wet spot. I am physically too damaged to sleep on the floor or sofa. I am not even close to strong enough to flip the heavy matress myself, and, as we discovered just before I wrote this, the mattress isn't flippable for design reasons.

I woke up damp and feeling terrible. The rain improved air quality, but I'd spent two days with my arm in a sling from pain and am still having a bad pain incident. I am exhausted and I hurt and endlessly changing the bed solo with one arm barely working and the other messed up. I am desperately behind on basic household chores because I can't stand long enough to do them.

I did what I could to help the mattress dry while I was up, but it's going to be another terrible sleep in damp conditions.

She isn't bleeding again and the volume was her usual massive amount, so I think she's not relapsing, just stressed.

* I saw Triple Frontier Recently. It was legitimately interesting. If they had made this movie in the 50's or early '60's it would have been a popcorn heist movie. Instead it's a meditation on colonialism and Americans' tendency to misuse force to get what they want and the massive amount of damage it does to everyone it touches. The main characters are Oscar Issac, Ben Affleck, and Charlie Hunnan. They other to main cast are Pedro Pascal, who's character is the heart of the group and tragically under written, but Mr. Pascal does an excellent job with it, and some generic white guy who looked like they put Brad Pitt, a lesser Hemsworth and another twelve guys into a face morpher. Fifth guy was barely characterized. So the plot is Isaac gets his old group of special forces buddies back together for one last mission and it goes horribly wrong. It was beautifully acted and brutal.
