* Tuesday: I remain sluggish from the air situation. Bonus? I lost an hour of work in a browser crash. Sigh. And then it crashed again.

Wednesday: Once the sun was properly up Wednesday morning, I found we has a toxic yellow pea souper outside. (The traditional 19th century London fog was mostly pollution so that tracks). It really looked semi-solid despite being semi-transparent. I decided watering the plants was a bad idea. It should come as no surprise that i was exhausted all evening and let Livia lure me into that cycle where i wake up, she comes for pets, i eventually fall asleep petting her, rinse and repeat. It should also be no Surprise that I spent about 10 minutes trying to cough the pancake batter out of my lungs when i did finally get up.

This morning, I scampered out just after to dawn to water the plants. The night breeze was still coming off the bay, but the sky was overcast while being cloudless and the air smelled like burning insulation. It was a mistake and I now have a brutal headache just from being out about two minutes.

They fire's on the other side of the mountains. We aren't in danger of burning and the air isn't nearly as bad as it is further south. It's still pretty fucking dangerous, and library curbside is closed for the duration to protect the health of library workers and rightly so.
