* The pictures aren’t great, but this? This is where the massive broken electric fire was. The flooring was discontinued so we couldn’t match it. I had them just fill in with different, but similar stuff with a verge instead of ripping out old floor and having it mismatch anyway. I think it looks pretty good. There is a barely visible line where they filled in the new dry wall, which I also knew in advance. honestly, I think it looks amazing and I have what is essential space in a very small apartment.

I need to start moving furniture in, which it turns out I’m not up to today, but I feel so much better with it done.

I unlock the door and hide in my room while they are here, coming out to pee while they are at lunch. They are wearing quality masks for obvious health and safety reasons anyway. I don't come out until they are gone for a few hours. It's not 100%, but it's safer than me doing just about anything else involving people, including having a roommate who works.

All that is left is finishing the bathrooms.
