Hillary Clinton was considered electable and Barak Obama wasn't, yet he was a pretty damned successful two term president. Pick the candidate you like best in the first round. If your candidate is below threshold, pick your second best, etc.. The most electable candidate is the one actual voters are really excited about, not the person some theoretical voter is imagined to prefer.

* I fundamentally object to the DNC deciding they could not slightly change rules to keep candidates of color who were close to making the cut on the debate stage, but they will happily change the rules entirely to let Bloomberg buy his way on. * Saturday a friend sent me magic soup. It takes me a while to eat, so I had some yesterday, some today, and the final dose tomorrow. I am noticeably improved today, though still not the thing. The Imperial couple spent most of the day sitting on me separately and together while I read a particularly pleasing m/m regency romance. The EBT having arrived, I dragged myself out into an unnervingly springlike afternoon to get perishables. The Grocery Oulet has good bargains, but they are a bit of a crap shoot. I did score essential basics, but they didn't have the specific thing they often carry that I particularly wanted, nor did they have any of the three super specific yogurt brand/types I am willing to eat, let alone in the handful of acceptable flavours, one did they have the juice type I've been craving constantly all month in a way that suggest vitamin deficiency, so I was forced to limp around a second grocery store that is more expensive, but which always has at least one of the acceptable yogurt types in at least two of the correct flavours and where I know I could get the right juice. Alas, when I opened it, it tasted lightly fermented.

Livia spent a big chunk of the late afternoon on her windowsill, and when I was eating my yogurt and magic soup, I spotted a gazebo type bird in the patio garden clearly looking for nest making materials. I think this means Livia's favorite show is about to come out of hiatus. I ended up trapped on the sofa for sometime after lungs, as my foot would not be easily coaxed into bearing weight, so I'm pretty much done with activities involving standing for the day. I have the Doctor tomorrow. We'll see if I need a whole second course of antibiotics.
