Cat Drama Ramps Up

gwydionElder kitty was the first to discover the sofa stripped to the canvass. She was planning on a sofa nap and not best pleased. Neither were the Imperial couple when they separately discovered the lack of pillows. When I went to put it the one clean cushion and the pee covers back on, I discovered someone had sprayed the top layer. Sigh. So I sent it back for another double washing. As I typed this (10AM), the litter was covering the one cushion and the elder Kitty was trying to decide if sleeping on the pee covers without cushions is a thing she wants to do right after taking a dump on the piss cover.
I think the where is all the pee coming from mystery is solved. I think the two little assholes are having a literal pissing contest over sofa ownership and that's why there was way more output than could be reasonably expected. I think he's furious she's been coming out and hanging in the common areas pretty much all night for the last week or so, sleeping in all her old spots including the sofa spots he likes to sleep in. I suspect he started marking territory and she followed suit. She was a notorious over the top asshole cat back in the day and he is at least as bad as she was.
Livia is being an angel and staying out of it.
So now the sofa is unguarded except for permeable layers and the litter box covering the clean pillow, since the piss proofs are all being washed.
Luckily the mystery Doctor appointment listed on the calendar for to day was illusory. I called and checked and all they have are the dental appointments. My theory is it was a misrecorded November one, but I called literally the moment they opened to check. I am staying up to do yet another Renovation meeting with the city and sign more papers. unless that is postponed til tomorrow but it wasn't when I checked a little bit ago. I'm supposed to go the the pharmacy, frage, and buy a few necessary things. I've a nasty suspicion I won't be up to it, and we really are running out of stuff.
Thursday is the dentist and my gums haven't healed yet, so this cleaning is going to hurt. I've got things I'm meant to do friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus research for this 1-2 week event I'm meant to be running on horror mush. The cats are being incredibly labour intensive and my body is really, really not okay with thte rate I'm burning spoons.
