* Sunday, I went for a short, extremely stressful swim. There was drama about lanes and I was too upset to do my hot tub stretches. I did go get perishables after and was totally wiped. By the time I got home, my lungs were deteriorating despite me medicating them just before going. I did another treatment and went to bed.
I had suspected I might be getting sick because of the persistent fatigue. By the Monday morning Doctor appointment it was obvious. I did what I came there for: Verified with my Doctor that neither of my degenerative genetic diseases were magically cured in the last three years and got the list of my last three appointments which she kindly filled in for me. While I was there the first attempt at blood pressure was a mess, as the machine froze mid cycle subjecting me to several extra minutes of pain and the reading was go to the ER high. Even how closely I've been monitored the last eleven yers and the fact that it was slightly high exactly twice, both when I was under physical stress trying to gimp there on time within an hour of taking meds that can short term spike pressure, and that generally I'm the low range of normal, I was pretty sure it was machine error. The nurse planned to come retake after the appointment, but the Doctor spotted it and got scared? Recheck? Normal, so really likely machine error. I was also pretty obviously sick, so she checked lungs and took symptoms. It was still the virus vs. bacteria ambiguous stage. We did the prescribe the meds and let me see if my lungs got worse before I took them phase.
I came home and had nap, then worked on data retrieval which was time consuming, but successful. The Emperor and I had another nap, and eventually I dragged myself out to eat, do small, sundry, necessary things. I took the antibiotics. Normally, I'd wait another day to be sure it's bacteria and not virus, but I was escalating fast and I was about 75% sure by this point. I'm up to 90% sure as of this writing, since I'm already breathing better.
I still haven't taken down the Exterior Halloween decorations, which is a problem, since the HOA tends to get shirty about these things, but I'm barely managing upright, I'm exhausted from the pathogens, and far too dizzy for ladders. I did do somewhere between half to a third of the data entry from the dying tech.
