* Today I had to go to forage early because I had Dentist after and better to drop off foraged perishables with Squirrel than leave things in a warm car or brave the long ass lines in the short window after dentist. Forage went well despite lady with massive three shopping cart length wagon who did not understand other peopl needed access to things she was blocking.

I had young end Millenial Doogie Houser Dentist and cute male young end Millenial hygienist bantering over me about the whole time. (Cute male hygenist is a completely different type than Renaissance Angel dentist, but also better at his job, and just as pleasant to look at). Despite his alarmingly young looks Doogie Houser Dentist is actually really good from the two times I had him. I feel confident in both his filling work and interest in making sure my bite and floss details are correct when he's done. I spent half the time they were working on me trying to figure out if their intense interest in third male coworkers taste in movies and music meant they were interested interested in him or if it was random conversation. I spend most of these appointments with my eyes closed and I like sort or half meditating while people banter over me. Add in a team I have reasonable confidence in and I'm happy.

Then it was pharmacy, library and groceries, where I spent way too much of this month's allotment. I think I still have enough for my birthday stuff, but it means scrimping on protein second half of the month. I've got Halloween covered, even if we get last year's surprisingly large volume of kids. I've definitely got enough emergency soup and sandwich making stuff. The store was full of people having a good long think with them and their carts blocking me from just darting in and out to grab the super specific thing I want. I then hi a second store for a super specific thing they have and no one else does. I admit I approached check out at the same time as someone else, but I'm disabled and exhausted and had three literal things in my basket and she had a massive load in her cart, so I didn't yield as i generally do in these situations. Given I was done and out the door before the guy ahead of me finished loading his bags, I don't feel too bad about it. The time I cost her was minuscule and she would have likely burned a whole spoon.

I needed a long sit before unloading groceries, so after feeding the cats their goosh, I changed bulbs in light strings for tomorrow. A friend is coming and we're planning to do the exterior display.
