* My belief that I have a sinus infection is confirmed. Another two weeks of antibiotics. Sigh. So I'm off my AS meds again. On the way home, I picked up a new litter box. I suspected sudden improvement after looking at last night's sample, so on the way back from my Doctor's appointment earlier in the afternoon, I bought an extra open top high back litter pan. We crated Livia and I carted her back Downtown to her vet. She spent the entire vet visit burrito'd in her travel blanket, her butt pressed up against the nearest clinic worker.
Her concentration is still high, so she's still goosh only except for treat time, but the risk of a dangerous blockage is past. The new pan's set up by her napping chair. She hadn't used it (or the sofa yet.) as of this writing. If she sofa pees tonight, I'll put the pan on the sofa, but I'm hoping having a pissoir right there will help.
With the labs, it was a hundredish all together, which I could afford thanks to your donations. We'll see how she does for the rest of this month and I'll let you know if she's going to need to go back and what the long term food situation is. We're fine for now.
I am assured that urine issues of this time take a lot of time to clear up. Interestingly, there's been in cluster in my area, including another girl cat. (It mostly a boy cat illness).
Update: She peed on the sofa. The new litter box has been deployed to the middle of the sofa.
Update2: Someone used the sofa box, but I missed who.
