"Barrow, who is white, strikes a decidedly moderate tone—for one thing, he, like Raffensperger, and in contrast to Stacey Abrams, is in favor of current voter-identification laws. He has largely staked his chances on pushing for a transition to paper ballots, which many deem a safer as well as cheaper alternative to the machines that Georgia currently uses. Raffensperger, meanwhile, has defended the use of electronic voting machines as well as Kemp’s culling of voter rolls."

* If you live in Georgia, don't forget to vote today!

* If Tim Scott is your Senator, now is an excellent time to protest Farr's appointment to the judiciary. If Jeff Flake is your Senator, please contact him to tell him to stand firm on his no vote pledge until Mueller is protected. Farr has a long history of racist voter suppression up to the present day.

If you can not protest in person, here are some other options:

* You may have noticed a lack of content Sunday. I've just been randomly, stupidly exhausted the last few days. I think my body is attempting to fight off some minor pathogen, likely picked up foraging. I'm okay, really. I'm covering the subsistence bases, for example. It's just that when I hit the exhaustion wall, it's pretty much go right to bed; do not pass go; do not collect $200.00. Since I do all the necessarily things before I sit down at the computer, and once I'm at the computer I have a bunch of things I do before I get to news. There is no point in fighting my body when it does this, so I'm just going with it.

Sunday I did correspondence, finished the tag audit, finished a scene, worked on a really complicated background for a much more complicated Marsilikos alt, but I hadn't energy or concentration to grapple with the news, so I just went to bed. I'm going to do leftovers from sat-Sunday first before grappling with today, though I've hopes of getting a bunch of that up too.

Monday was rather frustrating. Apparently the FedEx that used to be Kinkos no longer takes money. They only want people who have 10+ dollars on their credit cards copying papers there. The Library was closed for "staff training." This meant I couldn't make copies of papers I need at all today. I did get the paper Squirrel needs from the power company, but for reasons unclear to me he couldn't sort our power bill before he left for RL. They did have my meds at the pharmacy, whch is good, because I took the last of one of them today and it's a quality of life thing. (It hadn't been there last two times I went). Forage was not great, but they had a few things I for real needed. I blew half my EBT at the bargain grocery as I've been super tight due to seasonal protein orders and the like and I just really needed a bunch of basics. i lost the good parking weeks ago, and I got bumped onto the street again today. Temp tags hasn't moved there car in a couple of weeks, and apparently four PM is too late to get one of the other two slots. I really wish that forth disabled spot hadn't been converted into numbered parking, but then I also wish they hadn't lied to us and everyone moving into the other place that the shared parking was actual parking. Sigh. At least 4PM beats most normal commuters, so I got a street spot in reasonable gimping distance.
