* I lost 3+ hours of annoying, meticulous cataloging work in the wee hours of Tuesday. Fuck, fuck, fuck! I was nearly halfway through phase 1 and all to do again! I stayed up and finished it. On the up side, redoing the ost work only took an hour and a half due to my anal retentive research habits.
I had planned to try to make Fix It today or alternately change my sheets and do phase 2 cataloging, but I woke in terrible chronic pain with a bonus headache so extreme I couldn't focus my eyes properly to read. I opted to stay in my dimly lit bedroom and sleep in between the pain waking me. Tavy, despite having been in full on Asshole cat Mode when I went to bed, was an angel and kept me company throughout. He is such a trooper when I'm ill, and at his most endearing. When I did beat things down to a level where dressing myself and shuffling about a it was possible, I came out to discover that while the cataloging project had been left miraculously alone by the wee Beasties, despite being relative to their interests, one of the four mammals I live with had left a trail of trash through hall and kitchen. Either Squirrel was taking out his trash and failed to notice the odd thing dripping out, or one of the Beasties had gotten bored while I was sleeping and made their own fun with my office trash. I managed to spill on the sofa while eating, requiring two cushions needing taking up, which led to me knocking my tea over, because of course it did. Luckily I'd just started a laundry load and could use a towel to clean it. I am very clumsy when it's bad like this.
Imagine my delight on discovering rescue in my Paypal account. Thank you, kindest of Benefactor! I think I’m okay now, though I won't know for sure until middle of the month bills all come in. A side benefit is the cataloging project is suddenly less urgent, although still a thing needing doing. This is good given my current physical state since there is no point in even thinking of trying until my brain can manage meticulous.
