* I took the basil in at the beginning of the cold snap last week along with some forage flowers of unknown species, since I've no idea how cold sensitive they are and I can enjoy them better in the window. (The cats are interested in the potting soil, but not the plants) The basil seemed like it was barely hurt with oly a couple outlying bits showing frost damage, so I had hopes, but the last couple days it's taken a turn. Delayed damage, I'd assumed, until today when I saw what Tavy was doing to the poor thing. I've planted some cat grass in the pot with the forage flowers, so let us hope that grows quickly.

In the last week or so Livia has started coming to me and asking for pettins, as opposed to sort of collecting pettins, and Friday she actually napped on me when Tavy was also having his nap on me, as opposed to coming to cuddle Tavy specifically and collecting pettins while she's there before wandering off. Progress.

* Just when they finally stabilize the particularly damaging automatic update from a while back so I'm not constantly rebooting, they did it again. Since a couple of days ago, I have to reboot every half hour to an hour which is really slowing me the fuck down. Why can't they test these things before releasing them?
