* Today was fix it. I'd won back parking towards the end of December, but they were waiting in the window in hopes I'd go out, so grabbed it back, meaning at the end of the night I got to carry my lamps back across the complex, drop them off on my porch and gimp around to the other side of the building to get in. On the upside, they fixed both of the lamps that Skye and I bought at the turn of the century. I am very attached to these lamps as they are attractive and have useful little shelves where one can put small objects, and they remind me of Skye. So it was worth 45 minutes of being charming to a nice Grandmother while I waited for the folks who'd not been finished to get sorted, and an hour and fifteen minutes of two elderly gentlemen forcing the epoxied bits apart and putting them back together. (They putting together was just the one gentleman, but forcing the bits apart took a second gentlemen.) Right now one of the lamps is on my desk giving light.
