* ...And the car's dead. Squirrel foolishly stopped on the way to work and it's not starting. Odds are it's the wiring we couldn't afford to fix round the battery. There is a chance he can get a jump to get home in the morning.
If I’m remembering right the estimate was in the $150-200 range. I’ve next to nothing, bills having already gone out except the auto-withdraw for insurance I can’t mess with and I’m already floating a bill for this month. He’s not convinced he can squeeze that much out of his budget.
Fuck. I was hoping we had the summer to raise it and the tires felt more urgent, but those will for sure have to wait.
