* I have been slowly converting the apartment for Autumn. Today I made the burrito cup thingies and MrBumblepants and I decorated the Goythmas trees. The Halloweentown things are out, but I need to futz about with decorations some more tomorrow. The exterior display, is forbidden until the start of next month, so the phantoms, pumpkins, and exterior lighting aren't up. No pictures until things are a bit more sorted, but the trees fill me with delight.

- The High Ground raises a lot of questions around oppression, terrorism, and resistance it can't possibly answer. I can't either. I've been mulling this stuff for most of my lives. In a lot of ways this episode introduces themes that will be explored in a lot more depth and often with a lot more nuance in DS9 and rightly so. Accidental foreshadowing.
