* There is a serious hostage situation in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The estimate is 40ish hostages. They shot two policemen, and 26 people were wounded by shrapnel. The cowards at Daesh is claiming credit.

* My oldest continuous friend has sent a glue gun for making special toys for Tavy button. Today I assembled a box of treats and toys for the Tiny Terror. I catnip scented the tube box in case that would attract LM, but this is a cat who has spent over a decade locking herself in rooms because she can't figure out door technology, so to no one's surprise she stared sadly at the thing and wouldn't try even after i demonstrated. I gave her dental treats, tummy tuna, and a nice pet, before setting up her mesting spot on the sofa post cleaning. (Her usual mesting blankie being in the wash, hence tummy tuna). Tavy Button has not noticed the toy yet, having emerged from hiding for tummy tuna and then trotted off for a nap. I'll try shaking it at him later.
