* Friday was a rest day. Saturday was a puttering day. Today I'm short sleeped for a thing on GoB. My sister gave me a Shakespearean insult flip book. I have a Tudor insult reference book I use for GoB, but i think this will be easier and faster, which matters in MUSHing, so my sister really did well on useful gifts this year. The AA got me dishtowels of a texture I can use to make bread and a cat aphorism framed thing I will need to find somewhere to put. This is above par on the scale of AA gifts, so win. I may regift the cat aphorism thing, but the dishtowels, I really can put to use. I took a nap after GoB and woke up annoyingly sick. Sigh.
* Thank you... I think it was Jonquility? For recommending the strongly feminist Chameleon Moon. This was utterly charming. Interesting world building and plot, with a delightfully diverse cast of mostly queer characters of various types. Plenty of strong women characters, with one of the two viewpoint characters being a trans woman. There is even non-binary representation! This is a beautiful resistance against a distopian nightmare story that did not disappoint!
