Jan. 10th, 2015 01:41 am* The man who murdered a Police Woman yesterday in South Paris killed four people and took 15 others hostage in a kosher market. He is dead, but his accomplice escaped and was still being hunted as I wrote this.
* It is looking very much like the Charlie Hebdo killers had ties to Al Queada in the Arabian Peninsula (Yemmen). They took a hostage at a Printing Works in Dammartin-en-Goële. Police locked down the town and a massive police response mobilized. The brothers will killed and the hostage is freed.
As is my policy, I don't write the names of mass shooters unless there is a very compelling reason to do so.

* In the flurry on news from France, I forgot to mention that there was an attempted bombing outside the offices of the NAACP in Colorado Springs. No one was at the office that day due to vacations and weather. The FBI and ATF are looking for a bald, middle aged white man in connection to the bombing. No one was injured and the building has no real damage, just scorch marks. The NAACP says they will continue to work on important issues and that the volunteers are already at work in the office again.
President Henry Allen Jr said, "Let's get past the bombing and let's talk about the issues of employment. Let's talk about the issues of fair housing. Let's talk about the issue of education of our children. Let's talk about social justice, let's look at voting, let's look at candidates."
