* So it turns out that Steve Scalise was billing himself as "David Duke without the Baggage" and a "David Duke Republican" in 1999 as a selling point. O.o

The Republican main stream politicians are standing behind him as being openly aligned with the KKK is not any sort of problem for the Republican mainstream. Tomorrow he will be replacing Eric Cantor as the third ranking Republican in Congress. Eric Cantor was the only Jewish member of the Republican delegation before he lost the Republican Primary last Spring.

Former Grand Dragon of the KKK, David Duke is threatening to name names of other politicians he's had dealings with if Steve Scalise is removed from leadership. Of course no politician who hadn't been courting the KKK would be afraid of that threat, so if they don't remove him.....

* Sunday and Monday were bureaucracy days. I need to get a paper from the HOA, but I'll do that later in the week, I think, as the rest is done. I'm still very sick, but I'm not running the high fever. I need lots of rest though, way more than I am allowed to have by the exigencies of poverty.
