* I dragged myself out into the heat and lung clogging allergens as there was at least a slight breeze off the bay and forage and library needed doing, there being a stack of ILL waiting for me. It was good I went as the homeless lady from a few months go was stranded and melting in the heat. We were both by the exit and she recognized me standing there waiting for a helper. I read her face, which was both dreading the loooong walk and her memory that I was safe last time, and asked her if she wanted a ride to the same place. She said yes. I think it was very good I was there to take her, given how wilted she was in the car. She decided half way through to trust me with where she was staying and asked if I minded going a little further. Of course I took her to the end of the road closest to where she had to go. I just wish there was more I could do for her, or that there was a proper women's shelter in this town. She's clearly trying so fucking hard and there are no services here for women.
After I doubled back for the library and then home, where once I'd put forage away, eaten, and lunged, I then set up the auctions I wasn't up to Sunday. It won't be near enough for taxes, I suspect, so I'll likely be doing this again when these go, which means selecting more sacrifices.
I am very wilted, and I doubt I've spoons to engage with the news today, my apologies.
