* Oh man, Avenue Q is playing in Vancouver. I've always wanted to see it. I know, I know, I don't have a valid passport even if I did have money or a car.

* Mache vetoed the mesting material, but did spend the evening sprawled in front of the space heater. She's getting pettins on demand, and has been eating a good mix of food. Trips to the litter box are still a form of torture, but with the meds, she can cope. She's feeling well enough to be crotchety, which I feel is always a good sign in a dominant lady cat of her age. She has already learned to pretend swallow her pill, wait however many minutes until I wander off, then spit it out. *facepalm*

* Why am I craving cucumbers, or more specifically Tzatziki?

* The Boondocks TV show has it's issues, but I still love the "Return of the King" episode.

* No matter how many times I hear it, the Glen Beck left wing/Marxist/radical Islamicist conspiracy theory mash up breaks my brain. I simply can't make any sence of it at all. Marxists are atheist. Why would they be in favour of shariah law? How do either of things equate with me wanting wall street reform? These are not the same things. shariah law is rather the opposite of progressive values.

Antibiotics for the win! Mache was still in some distress yesterday. Today I can't feel any fever when I touch her. Her fur and walk are normal. Her output is nearly normal. She's not vomiting. She seems a little fragile still, and I'm babying her. The Butt seems to have a mild case of it too, but not enough to cause alarm yet. Squirrel's watching him close, as he's staying in his room mostly. The Butt is still eating, though not as much as he normally would, and sleeping more and not playing. He does not seem to be in pain. A side benefit is Hector's come out of a two week state of constant panic and his weight is back up to skinny from starving to death. Apparently, he really likes the sick cat food and will eat a selection even if I'm asleep. It makes all the difference.

Mache baby is out of danger. She's on special diet until the antibiotics run out, but the others are no longer treating her like she's dying. LM even started a little hiss fight this morning at 6AM. Mache boxed her ears and glared at her until she backed off. Mache sulked about half an hour after her most recent dose. Yet another sign she's feeling herself. She was too sick to sulk dramatically before.
