Do NOT stop protesting, Do contact you Senator (regardless of party, because the Democrats look to be caving) and state your opposition to Cruz's legislation intended to legalize indefinite detention for children.

* I had to block the police charity last week and the firemen today. I think they must have fallen out of the bottom with all the number I've had to unblock the last couple of weeks. They keep hard selling after I say "No, I'm on a fixed income." I can hear them still talking as I hang up and they like to wake me up. Back on the block list they went. Sigh. I dragged myself out into the heat for forage. I did a vegetable and potato audit. Yesterday I did the big tanks. I am running really low on Prime for the fish with no money for more. Squirrel accidentally set a small fire in the kitchen by knocking the burner on while helping with the groceries. Luckily I smelled it when I came back in from watering the garden nd no real harm was done. It was a good thing we got two gift second hand keyboards during the great car/housing/computer crisis as the keyboard on the older of the two is starting to go, as in I lost most of the numbers and a couple of letters today. I am resting in=t in hopes the heat sent it wonky, but haven't much hope. I'd already grown attracted to Hiddleston, but I still have Rupert on whom I'm typing now. It was just an exhausting and discouraging sort of day. My legs went dramatically wrong Monday night after I got the forage away and are still not great today, but acceptably functional instead of the Little Mermaid every shuffling step is agony thing. Testing with the air filter shows I'm not fighting a pathogen, but likely the thing wrong with my sinuses is either grass or that weed I'm very allergic to that mates in Summer. This is a good thing. Allergies don't require the level of medical intervention a serious infection does.
