* I am confused as to how Rick "Frothy Residue" Santorum thinks a lone 11 year old is more responsible than a law maker for stopping gun violence. Also, learning CPR is useless for shootings like the one in Florida because the damage those rounds cause if you get a torso hit are generally irreparable. Why is he blaming children and calling them lazy for doing all this to try to change things instead of trying to fix the problem. After all he is a literal adult. Elementary and most High School students can't even vote. It seems to me like yet another case of an adult too lazy and cowardly to do anything but whine about the people actually doing all in their power. * I think this may be the stupidest episode of Walking Dead ever. How many years has the zombie apocalypse been going on, and yet somehow they aren't tying the sick to the beds just in case? Maggie was at the Prison when we had this same scenario play out, so there is zero excuse. Yes, they had a guard, but sieges tire people out and folks need pee breaks, etc.. Tying them to the bed is just a sensible precaution. Infections happen. Sometimes there's a bleed no one spotted in a surgical patient. In older patients a serious wound with blood loss and surgery with little to no anesthetic can be a serious stress to the system and I'm doubting he's had his heart checked recently. And yes, I'm also someone who thinks that when they are fighting infected, they need to wear goggles and masks because what if it gets in their eyes or they breath in droplets? What if they are fighting live and infected as often happens and someone gets a cut? How sterile is that amputation axe? Did you clean and sterilize it after the last zombie head you cut open? I'm that person. I'm also the person who couldn't believe they didn't close the cell doors when they were sleeping in the prison just in case. Someone could have a heart attack or aneurysm or lung infection. Better safe than sorry and I'd rather have a big rattly set of bars between me and an accident. I'm a lot more patient with this sort of thing in the first year or two because they haven't sat around gaming it out before the crisis starts, but they've had plenty of time and plenty of accidents already to have a basic level of pragmatic paranoia and I just have trouble with them making the same mistake twice given how costly the first time was.
