* Last night there were so many reboots, one 15 minutes after the previous one, that i was able to to most of the bureaucracy while I waited, by small stages. I need Squirrel to print out a thing, and Wednesday, I need to drive to the back of beyond in search of a piece of paper from an office that moved somewhere significantly less convenient in the last year. Bonus points for them refusing to do normal business hours which means I will likely be doing this hallway through my sleep cycle. Sigh. Saturday I stayed up to hit a thing I needed to do at a place open 9-1 hence my being missing all evening.
Right before bed Tavy wanted to do a thing he used to do when he was small. I explained to him that he was no longer a Tiny Terror, but a Full Sized Terror. He was insistent, however, and luckily, despite him being approximately twice the weight, he did not break anything, though he discovered that it wasn't fun anymore, him being the wrong size now, poor wee button. Today is the kind of day where if I stop moving a sedimentary layer of cat(s) accreted, usually for naps and/or pets, but I've had to kick them off twice for fighting. They also kept coming to stare soulfully at me as I cooked. Yes, this is a normal cat activity, but I'm a vegetarian and spaghetti with red sauce and a veg side dish is not the sort of thing that generally interests cats. I one of the gaps, when i came to sit down I discovered the kibble bowl had been over turned in frustration after being emptied. Ah! They all lost interest once they'd eaten.
