* Livia is really growing fast and has a very loud purr. In other cat news, the two of them jumping onto the desk in unison is startling and loud and I clearly need a third hand so Tavy can curl up in the crook of my arm while both cats get scritches. A little after 4AM Friday morning she had her first arm cuddle, something her host human said she liked. She only wants short ones just now, but it's more progress. They co-slept on my successfully for hours, but woke me trying to play on my person. I am instituting the no play on the human rule and Tavy was kicked out of bed, me moving suddenly having scared his accomplice away.

* I last saw the Star trek Animated Series when it was originally broadcast, so basically, when I was very young. We had the colorforms. So the animation is what one would expect of the early '70's. Lots of static things with small simple movements were they can get away with them. The alien ship in the premiere is lovely though and they are making good use of the style. The first episode is a classic ToS/TNG puzzle situation with a dead mystery ship and an alien organism inevitably trying to hijack the Enterprise, watchable and very Trek.
