* I have used nearly all the spoons, as in, as I right this, I've been sitting here with the shakes for 15 mins, trying to get it together enough to but food in the preheated oven. I made it on time to my doctor's appointment, it being so early there was no point in going to bed. This was one of those massive ones, were they do all the periodic monitoring except labs, some minor treatment stuff, and... vaccinations. Y'all know how pro-vaccine I am, and vaccines are pretty much keeping me alive at this point. My lungs were judged recovered enough from last week's Smoke Monster for me to get my yearly influenza, which generally makes me mildly ill for a weekish in exchange for me not getting knocked out for a month with influenza plus secondary infections for every random exposure I get, so is hella worth it for me. Given my medical situation I have had all the fragile old people vaccinations they offer whenever they become available, which most of y'all won't be worrying about until you're old enough for AARP membership. Apparently a new pneumococcal is out, and mine, being a decadish old, stopped covering me last Spring, as these things evolve. Keep in mine that before vaccines I was getting it every year, sometimes twice. I repeat, vaccines are our friends. Vaccinate your kids for their safety and those around them! Anyway. This vaccine is comparatively brutal, being a two shot dealio, like the Hep B vaccination. I'll get another when I go for Winter Labs. I am Really Feeling this one though. Still better than the lung infections and lung scaring the infections would cause, but It felt like a wound before I was half way home and I can't sleep on that side. with my pain resistance and background pain level, it takes something serious to be something that my nervous system insists is a serious problem. The flu vaccination site is below average tender for a flu shot. The Pneumonia is warm and tender. It's not a big deal unless it swell to golf ball size or the fever goes to 103, so do not panic. I do have a fever, a bit higher than flu vaccine's tiny elevation, but not even close to worrisome. It's just knocking me over though. I also spent waaaay more money than I could afford on mostly assorted lung meds. I really really need to do ebay this month as I'm expecting to be something like a hundred or more down on bills the way things are going, and with things like dish detergent apt to be running out.
I did get some sleep lying on my other side, but I woke enough before the alarm to prep for Squirrel's thing, that when I realized there would be no more sleep, I pushed myself into clothes and out of the house for forage, which was not particularly successful, alas, all bread and vegetables and nothing much else. We brought the forage in and I took Squirrel on an all over town scavenger hunt, which actually was successful. We didn't get exactly what he wanted, but we got close enough. It was good I went, as I know way better how to find cheap and second hand stuff. I even had coupons. We need to glue some stuff together, but I own gorilla glue, so it should be fine.
I am having trouble with the basics. I did get the forage away and the plants watered, just barely before the shakes got too bad. I washed the patio curtain last night, though, and that is a pain to put back together and remount and requires a ladder, which is terrible idea even if I weren't in tears at the ridiculously easy task of walking to the oven and back.
I do not know how much posting I will manage tonight, for which I am sorry.
