- "Operation--Annihilate!:" Ah, the mind control space pancakes. Once again, they go into a a situation with an unknown contagion with out ABC or space suits. So yes, it's space pancakes that mysteriously do not show up on tricorders, but 1. They don't know that, and 2. Might not an ABC Suit or a space suit make it harder space pancake tendrils to take over the nervous system? Would this peril not be a bit less perilous if they had taken basic 20th century tech level precautions? Just saying. I do like that everyone is actually listening to reason this time instead of just Kirking it, though they did seem rather slow to try the thing they knew worked once. Why didn't they test variables before moving to human trials, though? They had multiple hypotheses, why not catch more space pancakes and test each variable separately?
