* Today was forage. As I pulled up, there was a homeless guy just starting to panic because his transport had just fallen through. The transit system won't take them when they have that much gear, see, and they can't leave their gear. This is why I periodically end up taking homeless people places they need to go. I'd transported this guy before even, a year or two a ago. He's a Vietnam era medic and hippie with memory problems. He is harmless if lonely and prone to ramble on. I could see his desperation and though what he really needs is someone with a truck or van, my car is big enough if he unbungees his stuff, which is a huge pain in the ass, but better than walking a distance by 6 O'clock curfew that would have daunted me at my healthiest. So I took him. Of course I took him. My car was the only one there even close to big enough. I offered before he could ask and reassured him that if he was still there when I came out I'd get him home. He didn't remember me, of course. I had to hit the library and pharmacy any way, and it's not that much further.

I am enough improved on the extra lung med that I even cleaned a tank as well as put forage away, though that is pretty clearly it for tonight.
