* I am now forgetting which Trump surrogate it was that made the argument earlier in the week that we shouldn't do anything about Russia interfering in our elections because they been doing that since the start of the Cold War. It rather shocked me at the time because if that were true and not something she or he pulled out of their ass then it is an argument for doing something RIGHT NOW to fix it, because that would be absolutely terrifying if it were true, not an arguement for the Trump administration policy of ignoring it. Now Trump is out claiming that Russia is "an asset" in this context. WTF!!! Seriously, how is this not a five alarm fire? Normalizing this is not okay.

* The TV drama the last two weeks has really thrashed me. I damaged a big toe when we took out the monster TV. It spent most of the week nearly as purple as my toe polish. It is now a bright move and trhe bruising on the other toes has mostly faded. Yesterday the pain in the rest of my body was astonishing even by my standards and I've had to take rather strong measures as a result. I gave myself today off what with the exhaustion and the medication. It's more manageable today.
