* Adulting Success! Despite the alarm not going off, Friday I woke up at the right time from a dream that was an absolutely perfect horror movie (ghost type). Seriously, it was a gem. Slow build. Dramatic action sequence with excellent special effects, followed by the shocking reveal. It ended with my saying to the two guys who were my roommates in the dream, "That's it. Put our things back in the moving truck. We need to get the fuck out of here!" Not 1408 good, but better than 80-90% of what Hollywood has been putting out lately.
Anyway, perfect timing. I manage to drag myself out on time for the Doctor. I hit the library before going to do my bureaucracy, which went quicker than expected in part because I am organized and actually good at this and in part because the lines were fast. I stopped at the grocery on the way home and they did have apricot things in, so I blew the last of the food money on that, guestimating so well that I only have .82 left on the food card.
My head and lungs are already clearer. The headache is down to a dull thump with the very occasional brief stab, and I've barely a fever. I've a nice stack of phone bureaucracy next week, but this looks like success to me.
