The fucking live journal ate my fucking entry again because they insist on switching me to the new format against my will at random, thus erasing a huge fucking entry I was in the middle of writing. Why does live journal do this and how do I make the assholes in charge stop?

That's odd -- I was able to turn off the prompt that said "switch to the new format" by clicking this little "x" in the corner of the bar, and it hasn't bothered me since then. I'm sorry it's giving you fits. Maybe write the posts in Word or Note and then copy and paste to the final entry if you can't get them to stop screwing around?

:(. I can't figure out a profit motive for it, so I'm really stumped why they keep doing this. It'd have to be cheaper just to stop with unwanted, random changes.

I've been composing and posting at Dreamwidth and ticking the little box to crosspost here - there *are* occasional issues, but they're pretty rare these days...
