gwydion* Republicans decided to prevent a job core bill for veterans despite having written parts of it. They are lying when they say they support the troops. Why else are they against employing veterans, who have a disproportionally high jobless rate? To me, supporting the troops means not sending them into harms way unless it's absolutely necessary, giving them the right equipment for the job, quality health care during and after including mental health services, the GI Bill, proper veterans benefits, and helping them find jobs after their service. Republicans have stood strongly against all these things in the last twelve years while still waving the flag and the bloody shirt.

* Today I managed to not only miss set the alarm, but fuck up my meds schedule, which I didn't realize until I was already out of the house and thus unable to do anything about it. At least the bad patch waited until I made it home instead of hitting while I was out and about. Hector "helped" by howling and throwing one of his massive property destroying tantrums while I was in the middle of my struggle to keep my anti-nausea meds down.
* And apparently I forgot to post this despite it being queued up and ready to go. *facepalm*
