Jun. 17th, 2012 12:17 am* A conservative reporter persistently heckled the president during his speech Friday. His news organization says they are proud of him. Why is it that I can't think of a single white President heckled by a reporter during a speech?
* Meanwhile, Mitt Romney had his people drive his campaign bus over to where the president was speaking to circle, honking his horn in the hopes of disrupting the president's speech. This strikes me as the sort of thing a particularly immature 7th grade boy might do, but Mitt Romney assures us that he's competent to run our country. Riiight.
* I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I think supporting our troops includes not deporting them after they have completed their service.
* It was clear there was no way I could cover all my bills on this month's $500.00 SSI, so I cashed yet more inheritance in. Really I need to probate to finish. I'm all excited to get new sheets and underwear. Anyway, I had to go out for cheese and cat meds today, so I hit the farmer's market as I've been craving fresh fruit. I love Rainier cherries so much and they are in season. I also went to see Hysteria, as it's at the art cinema and they generally only show things for a week unless they are very popular. If you go, stay for the credits as the historical photos are so worth it. The cats are defleaed and full of tuna. I will soon be sleeping.
