* I figured out how Hector dyed his paw green. I like it when a mystery gets solved.

* He's toned the howling down to the first couple hours after Mache and I go to bed instead of the entire sleep cycle. I suspect he's sane enough to feed himself while I'm asleep, though I haven't actually caught him at it. I got real sleep today. Finally. I'm still exhausted from a couple of weeks of birmin torture, but I have more cope now.

* I had enough energy to do some real cooking yesterday as opposed to the emergency stuff I eat when standing is hard. I am having a lot of fun with the barberries. It's clear I need to use a much heavier hand with them.

* Now and then I imagine who would I have at a fantasy celebrity dinner party. This is not a sex thing; It's a conversation thing. Currently I'm imagining Rachel Maddow and Sarah Vowel, with maybe Ewan McGregor because he appears to be hilarious in person.

I have no idea what kind of political discussion he'd bring, but for pure hilarity I'd go for Anthony Daniels. I've been to a lot of sci-fi conventions and met a lot of celebrities, but he's the only one who's made me laugh nearly to the point of inducing an asthma attack.

The silly beast was scavenging where he isn't allowed. Apparently the green food colouring dripped into the sink onto a pan that was soaking. He must have put his foot in when he was trying to steal scraps. Silly beast.
